FAQ: How do I determine if my output is off (disabled) programmatically on my N6700 series?

There are two options. The easiest one would be to send the OUTP? (@1) query. This will give you the current setting for the OUTPut command. The other way would be to send a STAT:OPER:COND? (@1) command. If bit 2 is asserted, then the output is off.
